Dear Interested Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in Winterville, EMS. We are a combination department, with both volunteer member and paid employees. We have a high call volume, with about 90-110 callls per month. In order to process your application quickly and easily, I am asking for the materials following this letter be filled in completely when you turn in or submit your application. When you turn in your completed application, I also ask that you obtain a copy of your criminal history from the courthouse. The county clerk can obtain this fairly quickly with a cost of approximately $5-10 dollars. This allows time for reveiw prior to our interview. Allow about a week or two for processing and then expect a phone call from a representative of Winterville EMS to set up an interview. At the time of the interview, there will be some materials that we will ask you to bring in order for us to make copies for our records. Please bring with you a copy of your current driver's liscense, current EMS certifications, shot records and social secrity card.
